Orchard Heights is home to 484 students, with all rooms featuring private bathrooms. Choose an en-suite to share your kitchen with flatmates, or enquire about the studio rooms if you’d like everything to be just for you.
It’s the social spaces that set this place apart. Centred around a large courtyard with picnic benches and table tennis, there’s also two common rooms to choose from, both with seating areas, pool and ping pong tables. The huge common room next to reception has group study tables, bean bags, a projector, and a communal kitchen. You’ll find three study rooms here too, and a bookable music room with upright piano and keyboard.
Orchard Heights really is a music lovers paradise - as well as the onsite music room, the O2 Academy is, quite literally, on your doorstep, and there’s a great range of pubs, bars and clubs nearby. International supermarkets, convenience stores and vintage shops can all be found on Park Street, and the harbourside, with its markets, restaurants and independent cinema is under 5 minutes away.
